Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem has given an assurance that the state government and people will fully support the leadership of Datuk Seri Najib Razak as prime minister.
He said the reception accorded to Najib by the people in the state during his various visits proved their undivided support for him.
"The people of Sarawak are thankful and appreciate the prime minister's contribution to the state and will support him fully," he said in his welcoming speech at the 59th Sarawak Dayak National Union (SDNU) anniversary dinner at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) in the state capital tonight.
He hoped Najib would visit Sarawak more frequently to enhance the level of development in the state.
Adenan said Najib was the prime minister who had visited the state the most frequently which enabled him to understand the needs and problems faced by the people, especially in the rural areas. – Bernama, June 17, 2015.
