SEREMBAN: The construction of the RM100 million Rembau Hospital is expected to be completed in 2017, hence making each district in the state to have its own hospital, according to Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam. “The Rembau Hospital is being built on a 19.4-hectare site in Chembong and will have 97 beds and other facilities any other district hospitals,” he told reporters after launching the MySihat programme at SJK(T) Rantau, near here today. He said other districts which already had their own hospitals were Seremban, Port Dickson, Kuala Pilah, Jempol, Jelebu and Tampin. The minister said with the establishment of a hospital in each district in the state, it was hoped that the healthcare services provided to the people in the state would be further improved. – BERNAMA
